First published in 1881, the epic tale of romance in a time of prejudice and intolerance brought fame to this quiet little ranch in Piru and each year the Rancho Camulos Museum celebrates the sweeping epic with music, dance and re-enactments of selected passages. "Out & About" captures the color and pageantry of this celebrated event including interviews with the caretakers, glimpses of the performances and segments from the original 1910 silent film starring Mary Pickford.
